A Japanese IT solutions company is seeking a skilled Senior QA Engineer to join our dynamic team and play a pivotal role in shaping and building these innovations.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for testing activities and defect management
- Perform analysis of requirements and prepare QA approach for their testing
- Perform functional, regression, integration testing
- Actively participate in the whole development process, from initial design up to launching the product/product features
- Create test case / E2E scenarios
- Develop and maintain automation test suites
- Support PROD deployments/releases (Smoke tests)
- Follow and contribute to agile development processes
- Set processes for test plan reviews and ensure that test plans/test suites get reviewed by all stakeholders/Project Manager
- Work closely on the deadlines of the project
- Have the full view on the application and highlight any risky areas that may cause regression.
Required Skills:
- +5 years of QA experience, with strong understanding of QA activities in the SDLC
- Minimum 3+ years in Automation Testing using Selenium, Cypress, Puppeteer, or similar tools
- Experience in Web Application and API testing, along with database testing using SQL
- Deep understanding of Agile methodology and the full QA process (defect life cycle, test case, and test plan documentation)
- Proficient in Jira, version control systems (GIT), and creating clear test suites and bug reports
