Description
A Global Financial firm is seeking a Senior Data Security Professional.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and implementation of data discovery, classification, and labeling using tools such as BigID and Microsoft Information Protection (MIP)
- Design and deploy consistent Data Loss Prevention (DLP) and Information Rights Management (IRM) solutions across all channels
- Establish controls for data obfuscation, including key management, encryption, masking, and tokenization
- Drive DevSecOps practices, ensuring robust source code control, versioning, and centralized documentation
- Guide and mentor analysts on architecture, design, and implementation best practices
- Collaborate with central architecture and engineering teams to ensure alignment
- Manage and promote data security initiatives with internal and external stakeholders
- Adhere to Nomura’s SDLC processes to ensure secure and timely project delivery
- Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for data security, providing strategic guidance to leadership and technical teams
Required Skills:
- Total 10 years experience in Information Security Engineering
- Within 10 years experience, 5 years solid experience focusing on data security engineering
- Hands-on experience in: Data Discovery/ Classification Tools such as BigID, Microsoft Information Protection (MIP), or similar
- Hands-on experience in: Data Obfuscation/PKI tools such as Thales Ciphertrust, Entrust, Venafi, or similar
- Hands-on experience in: Cryptographic key management tools such as HSMs, AWS KMS, or similar
- Hands-on experience in: Database activity monitoring tools such as Imperva, IBM Guardian or similar
- Hands-on experience in: DLP/IRM implementation utilizing tools such as Symantec DLP, Forcepoint or similar
