Description
A Global Financial firm is looking for a Project Manager (Data and AI project) who will primarily engage in various project and budget management activities, as well as business analyst functions. Depending on your skills and preferences, opportunities may also be available for involvement in data analysis and development. Responsibilities: - Lead and manage a variety of data utilization projects within the Group, focusing on establishing robust data infrastructure, delivering actionable business intelligence, conducting data analysis, and implementing AI technologies. - Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to identify and clarify complex business challenges, developing strategic projects that drive effective solutions and measurable outcomes. - Oversee project progress, reporting, and budget management, while evaluating project results and recommending actionable improvements to ensure continuous enhancement. - Provide technical expertise in data analysis and AI development, collaborating with team members to support project objectives. Depending on your skills and interests, you may also have opportunities to engage in hands-on analysis and development work. - Maintain an up-to-date understanding of industry trends and technological advancements, delivering valuable insights that can be leveraged in projects. Additionally, facilitate training sessions and presentations to raise awareness among internal and external stakeholders about the critical importance of data, thereby improving overall data utilization practices. Required Skills: - 10 years’ experience in project management and experience specifically in Data utilization/ data infrastructure and AI project - Proficient in IT project management frameworks, including PMBOK, Agile, and Scrum, with practical experience. - Proficiency in project management tools (such as Jira), with the ability to efficiently plan and manage progress for both Agile and Waterfall projects. - Basic knowledge in data analysis and AI technologies along with Python and SQL Why should you apply: - You will be part of a Global IT team to be part of winning asset banking - Good managers to work with - Strong focus on equality - Stable environment - First-hand experience on high level digital transformation Company Details: Headquartered in Tokyo with offices in Hong Kong, London, and New York, it is Japan's largest securities firm, employing approximately 26,000 staff worldwide and offering a full range of equity, fixed income, foreign exchange, and other investment products and services.
