Description
A Leading cloud-based point-of-sale platform firm is looking for an experienced Program Manager . As a senior Product Owner & Project Account Manager you will be expected to establish a close relationship with a major Japanese client as well as various internal stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary point of contact between the firm and the client's Japan-based teams
- Manage relationships with client stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment between technical and business teams
- Collaborate with internal teams, including engineers, product managers, and global counterparts, to deliver tailored solutions that meet the client’s business objectives
- Oversee project timelines, milestones, and deliverables to ensure the successful implementation of the loyalty program and continued successful ongoing delivery
- Assist with project management responsibilities as necessary
- Drive triage of and resolution of issues to satisfaction
- Understand client program and implementation and ensure they are realizing optimal value from the solution
- Ensure that all delivery teams are delivering against the terms of the contract
- Provide strategic insights and recommend improvements to optimize the client's use of the loyalty platform and their loyalty program
- Maintain a proactive approach in identifying challenges, proposing solutions, and driving project success
- Lead client meetings – including development of agendas and materials/content, leveraging internal stakeholder support for on-topic and complete content
- Account growth (farming) – estimates, proposals for change requests and new features/functionality. Note, this is not a sales role, but an account management, relationship role that has responsibility for account health and growth.
- Managing Account financials – invoicing, account reviews
- Contract renewals – securing renewals
- Provide on-call support as needed, including after-hours support if necessary
Required Skills:
- Extensive experience as a Program Manager/Product Owner/Senior Project Account Manager within the Technology industry
- Proven ability of client-side account ownership, relationship building, stakeholder management
- Technically savvy, familiar with SaaS technology implementations and has ability to provide guidance for issue resolution and delivery
- Business skills, proficiency with Microsoft and Google business tools
- Project leadership and relationship management are important
- Ability to drive a project forward while fostering a good relationship is critical
