Description
An European Insurance firm is looking for a talented DevOps & SRE (Site Reliability Engineer) in the System Operations Team, in the Technology Department.
Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain the infrastructure and configuration management needed for continuous integration, continuous deployment, and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure smooth deployment and operation of systems.
- Monitor and optimize system performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Implement best practices for security, monitoring, and alerting in all aspects of infrastructure and application development.
- Automate repetitive tasks to improve efficiency and reduce human error.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in development, testing, and production environments.
- Participate in on-call rotation to provide support for production systems.
Required Skills:
- 3~5 years or SRE/DevOps experience
- Strong experience in system operations, with a focus on DevOps and SRE practices
- Proficiency in scripting and programming languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, in particular AWS
- Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes
- Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, Dynatrace, etc
- Understanding of infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Chef
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work well in a team environment
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
