A Global IT Services firm is seeking a Data/AI Engineer for its Security Department.
The Data/AI Engineer is a hybrid role responsible for data analytics, data engineering, and contributing to AI initiatives. This individual will build, maintain, and scale the data infrastructure and machine learning pipelines that power our AI initiatives, while also performing in-depth data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that enhance our cybersecurity posture.
Responsibilities:
- Data Analysis & Insights: Conduct in-depth data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in cybersecurity data. Develop visualizations and reports to communicate findings to stakeholders
- AI Model Deployment & Operationalization: Deploy, monitor, and maintain AI/ML models in production environments, ensuring high availability and performance
- AI Infrastructure Management: Select, implement, and manage AI/Data infrastructure, including cloud-based resources and specialized hardware
- Data Pipeline Engineering: Design, build, and maintain robust, scalable data pipelines for ingesting, processing, and transforming large datasets relevant to cybersecurity
- AI Model Performance Optimization: Optimize the performance of AI/ML models for production, including fine-tuning, scaling, and resource management
- AI System Monitoring & Maintenance: Continuously monitor and maintain AI systems, identifying and resolving issues to ensure optimal performance and reliability
- MLOps & Automation: Automate machine learning workflows (MLOps) to streamline model training, deployment, and monitoring processes
- AI Security & Privacy: Implement and maintain security and privacy measures for AI models and data, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations
- AI Trend Monitoring: Stay up-to-date with the latest AI trends and deployment technologies, recommending and implementing innovative solutions
- AI System Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and debug AI systems, identifying and resolving issues to ensure optimal performance and reliability
Required Skills:
- Strong experience with data engineering tools (SQL, Spark, Airflow, cloud storage, etc.)
- Proficiency in data analytics techniques, including statistical analysis, data mining, and machine learning
- Familiarity with data analytics and exploratory data research
- Hands-on experience with AI tools, APIs, and frameworks (LangChain, vector DBs, HuggingFace, OpenAI APIs, etc.)
- Ability to integrate AI services into applications (e.g., via Python, Node.js, or backend systems)
- Exposure to AI/ML model experimentation or fine-tuning (e.g., with PyTorch or TensorFlow)
- Familiarity with MLOps tools (MLflow, Weights & Biases)
- Experience working with large datasets and data warehousing technologies
- Proficiency in SQL and other database query languages
- Proficiency in at least one scripting language (e.g., Python, R, PowerShell)
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Grafana)
- Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and security considerations
- Experience with security information and event management (SIEM) systems (e.g., Splunk, QRadar, Sentinel)
- Understanding of cybersecurity principles, threats, and vulnerabilities
