職務内容
A global leader in the integration of IT and network technologies is seeking a Server Infrastructure Technical Manager to lead and manage enterprise-level infrastructure projects in a customer-facing capacity. This hybrid role combines project management (60%) with hands-on technical execution (40%), requiring strong leadership, technical depth, and Japanese communication skills. The successful candidate will work closely with Japanese clients, manage offshore technical teams, and drive initiatives involving automation, server migrations, decommissioning, and platform modernization.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage infrastructure projects including OS upgrades, patching, decommissioning, and hyper-converged infrastructure (HCI) deployments
- Act as the primary interface with Japanese client teams, ensuring smooth communication and accurate technical documentation translation
- Oversee and mentor a team of 4–5 offshore technical members
- Modify and maintain existing Ansible playbooks; gradually develop new automation scripts from scratch
- Execute hands-on server management tasks in environments using RHEL, HP-UX, VxRail, ESXi, and Tanzu Kubernetes Grid (TKG)
- Develop and manage Excel Macros/VBA scripts for operational automation
- Review and translate technical specifications, proposals, and system documentation between Japanese and English
Required Skills:
- Operating Systems: RHEL, HPUX
- Infrastructure Platforms: VxRail, ESXi
- Automation: Ansible (playbook development & maintenance)
- Container/Kubernetes: TKG (or strong Kubernetes experience)
- Scripting: Excel VBA/Macros
- Proven project management and leadership experience in infrastructure environments
- Experience interfacing directly with clients in a technical and project leadership role
