職務内容
A Global IT Service firm is looking for a QA Automation Engineer Lead. The ideal candidate will be a proactive and experienced QA Engineer to champion the quality of our mobile applications on iOS and Android.
Responsibilities:
- Create & execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for iOS & Android apps, prioritizing areas for automation. Perform manual testing (functional, regression, integration, usability) where Appium automation is not yet feasible
- Lead the effort to expand and improve our mobile test automation framework, which is based on Appium. Design, develop, & maintain robust and reliable automated test scripts using Appium. Identify opportunities to automate manual test cases and processes using Appium. Measure and report on Appium automation coverage and effectiveness
- Create, organize, and maintain test cases within TestRail. Execute test runs in TestRail and track results. Generate reports from TestRail to provide insights into test coverage and quality metrics. Link automated tests to TestRail test cases for comprehensive tracking
- Identify, document, & track defects in Jira, ClickUp. Collaborate with developers to reproduce & resolve issues
- Analyze the current QA cycle and identify bottlenecks and areas for improvement. Propose and implement solutions to streamline the QA process, with a focus on Appium automation. Contribute to the development of QA best practices and standards
- Participate in code reviews. Analyze test results & provide reports. Contribute to QA process improvements. Stay current with mobile and web testing trends
- Lead the automation effort for our web applications. Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web applications (e.g., using Playwright, Selenium, Cypress)
- Work within our Agile/Scrum process
Required Skills:
- Experience: 5+ years of software testing experience, with a strong focus on mobile app testing (iOS & Android)
- Demonstrated experience in software quality assurance with a focus on test automation for mobile applications (iOS and Android) and embedded web views. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of contributing to successful automation projects. Our team is implementing a shift-left testing strategy
- Automation Tools & Frameworks: Experience working with automation tools, API testing tools and frameworks such as Appium, WebDriverIO, Playwright, Cypress, XCUITest, Postman, etc. Coding skills are required for developing and maintaining automated tests. Experience contributing to or developing test automation frameworks and integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
- Communication & Problem-Solving: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills to identify areas for Appium automation and measure its effectiveness Why should you apply:

Work Hours : 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM (Flextime or staggered working hours possible)
