A Global Digital Marketing Solutions Company is seeking a Junior/Inexperienced Data Analyst (BMS) to join their vibrant IT team. U
Responsibilities:
- Utilises ID-POS data and ad delivery data to understand the client's current situation and identify issues in cooperation with the sales staff. A series of analytical tasks such as preliminary analysis, targeting setting, effectiveness verification and improvement proposals for sales promotion and advertising measures, using ID-POS data and advertising distribution data
- Accompany sales representatives to business meetings to build strong relationships with clients, conduct hearings on issues and make presentations
- Accurately understand client needs, analyse client issues from a strategic perspective, provide consultation on problem solving, design and implement data analysis
- Analytical work that is not limited to Catalina's own data, such as combining internal client data and 3rd party data directly related to problem solving
- Design and execution of advanced data applications such as statistics and machine learning in the above-mentioned analysis-related tasks.
- Collaboration with the data science team if the task is challenging
- Work related to the area of data utilisation in improving the efficiency of existing operations and developing and introducing new services
Required Skills:
- 2+ years’ experience in data processing/analysis
- Experience working with SQL or Python, or any of the following even if no SQL/Python experience
- Experience in product development, sales promotion and marketing
- Marketing research and consulting in BtoC services (Consumer Goods are even better)
- Ability to think strategically in data analysis from problem formulation, hypothesis design, insight discovery, solution proposal
- Ability to create outputs that summarise analysis results in a way that is easily communicated to other departments and clients
- Ability to work with other departments (mainly Sales) and ability to collaborate with, and sometimes lead, other departments (mainly Sales)

Working hours: 9:00-17:30, Monday-Friday
