A Leading European Global Insurance Company is seeking an experienced ETL Engineer for Cloud integration to join their dynamic team.
An ETL Engineer for Cloud integration is a professional who designs, develops, tests, and maintains the Extract Transform Load (data integration) workflows that enable the smooth and efficient transfer of data on the Cloud or between the cloud and on-premise systems. The role of an ETL Engineer involves understanding the source data, its format, and quality, mapping the data requirements to the target system, and ensuring data quality, accuracy, and consistency. ETL Engineer uses various tools and technologies such as SQL, ETL frameworks, data modeling. ETL Engineer works closely with local as well as remote peer IT teams, Data Governance team.
Responsibilities:
- Design, set up, develop, test, and maintain the ETL pipeline from ingestion to destination
- Own data integration at the project level on a need basis
Required Skills:
- Hands-on experience with AWS Glue, Informatica Power Center, data modeling, SQL, AWS Lambda, Serverless, Terraform
- Understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and source code management with GIT/GIT Hub.IaC, GIT/GIT Hub
- Knowledge of data ingestion, transformation, modeling, security, governance, privacy, schema design, and optimal data store design for AWS cloud-based solutions
- Ability to analyze data, verify data quality, and ensure data consistency using AWS services
- Database issues, pipeline issues, data model design, ETL pipeline design aligned with business requirements and standards

Working hours: Monday-Friday 9:00-18:00
Working Style: Hybrid (daily office attendance is required for the first few months.
After that, the office will be open 1-2 days a week. Days in the office may change depending on the situation)
