職務内容
Responsibilities:
- Primary goal is managing our database platform. We are looking for someone who is strong in daily operations.
- Drive hybrid and public cloud solutions for workloads that need scalability, resiliency, optimization and High Availability.
- Gather and analyze metrics from OS, Network and Applications to assist in fault finding and long-term actionable solutions.
- Drive service quality and uptimes within the organization with well-defined processes and metrics including RCA.
- Drive Innovation POCs, Intellectual Property Development and influence Product Roadmaps.
- Collaborate with users to understand and improve on their experience.
- Consult on migrating legacy applications to modern database stack.
- Hire and groom next-gen technical leaders.
Team structure:
We are a growing team with about 20+ members across the globe.
Most of the team members have multiple years of experience, while a few joined as entry level.
Infrastructure used:
MySQL, Oracle, Redis, Cassandra, Couchbase, Cloud DBs.
Kubernetes, Kafka, API Gateway.
CentOS, Ubuntu, Redhat.
Required Skills:
- 12-15 years of total experience in leading database organization both on-prem and on public cloud.
- 8-10 years of management experience with a direct experience of 5+ years in managing first line managers.
- Extensive experience (Hands-on) in the following technologies: Database (Oracle, MySQL, Cassandra, Redis, Couchbase) Cloud (public/private), Kubernetes & CICD tools.
- Expertise in database operations, Change and Incident Management, database migration and automation (DevOps).
- Mastery in Linux and database performance tuning.
- Experience in developing and leading teams building solutions with cloud technologies.
- Experience with SRE practices, including operational architectures, observability, reliability, availability, and scalability.
- Strong problem solving and critical thinking ability. Ability to troubleshoot issues and enable team members to quickly resolve incidents.
- Excellent written and communication skills with strong stakeholder management skills. Ability to work across globe with different cultures.
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
- Exposure to budget management
- Knowledge in E-commerce and FinTech sector
- Strong leadership primarily focusing on delivering results
- Experience of working in cross-culture environment
