職務内容

Our client's division is offering an IDaaS solution (single sign on, users management, secure authentication, etc.) to enterprise customers in Japan and abroad. They have been on the market since 2017, constantly evolving and improving our solution to offer new and useful functionality to our customers.

 

They are looking for a senior or middle level Ruby on Rails engineer to support and evolve the core part of their product.

 

Key Responsibilities:

- Adding new or modifying / fixing existing features of the core part of the product

- Managing improvements to code base quality via refactoring

- Breaking down large tasks into milestones and following them

- Being in charge of your designated feature until deployment and conduct follow ups

必須スキル

- Good understanding of how Web/HTTP works (how client and server interact)
- Very good understanding of Ruby on Rails and Active Record
- Good understanding of web application security and QWASP Top 10
- Good understanding of relational databases
- Knowledge of modern development methodologies and software development life cycle
- General understanding of IT infrastructure (load balancers, DNS etc.)
- Intermediate system design knowledge
- Personal understanding of SOLID principles, gained through first-hand experience
- Knowledge of differences between monolith and micro-service architecture
- Thorough self-check before peer review / QA
- Desire to write quality code
