The division you will be working in helps customers optimize their IT and network investment and drives the adoption of technologies and business solutions. As an essential component, Project & Program Management is at the heart of the delivery of the portfolio to their customers. The Head of PMO is responsible for the leadership and development of a best-in-industry team of Project & Program Managers, consistently delivering impeccable quality in alignment with the client and Customer business goals, objectives and priorities.
The Head of PMO is responsible for the successful delivery of customer projects, ensuring customer acceptance criteria are achieved and will strive to exceed the expected business results. The PMO team is also required to provide subject matter expertise support for pre-sales opportunities including scoping, sizing, costing and defining delivery models.
‐Experience in either the service delivery or technical Project Management area
‐Educated to degree level (Business or technical degrees preferred)
‐Knowledge of PMI Project Methodology - PMP Certification (or equivalent, such as PRINCE) preferred
‐Experience of building and leading high performing teams
‐Track record of successful Customer Program and/or Project delivery
‐Understanding of typical IT companies and Vendor organization structures, operating models and culture
‐Understanding of typical IT companies and Vendor delivery processes and tools
‐PMP or PRINCE2
‐Ability to lead and inspire team members to ensure the successful completion of customer projects and to consistently achieve or out-perform on team key performance metrics
