A Global IT Service firm is looking for a Back-end Engineer (API, Batch process). As a Mid/Senior level server-side applications Developer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality applications.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features, ensuring the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the applications.

Responsibilities:
- Design and build advanced applications using Java
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Write unit tests to ensure code robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability
- Work on bug fixing and improving application performance
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of the development process
- Participate in the full lifecycle development process, including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, and deployment
- Work within an Agile/Scrum environment to deliver high-quality software

Required skills:
- 5+ years of experience developing and operating server-side applications using Java
- Knowledge of Spring framework, including Spring Batch
- Schema design and efficient querying in DB (RDB, NoSQL, etc.)
- Experience in asynchronous processing using Kafka
- Strong problem-solving skills to resolve complex and uncertain situations
- Experience in building and maintaining CI/CD environment with Kubernetes
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket
- Experience in team development
