A Leading supplier of network solutions focused on "communication stability" during emergencies has been aggressively expanding its footprint in Japan. In order to accelerate its sales activities, its currently hiring a Solution Support Engineer. 

The primary focus of this position is to provide technical support and process technical requests from the customers and the partners. This position reports directly to the Solution Support Manager based in Singapore.

Responsibilities

- Assist the end-users and the partners in designing the network taking into consideration the customer’s challenges and advantages of our solution

- Upon deployment of the network and during the operation, closely work with the end-users and the partners as well as the engineers to swiftly address technical issues that might arise

- Coordinate with business development team, R&D and other stakeholders in order to respond to the requests and inquiries from the end-users and the partners

- Provide any other technical support primarily during post-sales stage as well as pre-sales phase as required

- Detailed working experience in designing Layer 2, Layer 3, MPLS-TP and IP/MPLS networks with understanding on unicast, multicast, IP addresses/subnets, VLAN and routing protocols

- Experience in leading the implementation of the projects as a technical focal point

- Detailed technical knowledge of telecommunications and IT networks, with good working knowledge of MPLS, TCP/IP, routing switching, network engineering, network configuration and troubleshooting

- Knowledge on legacy protocols such as RS232, J1, T1, E1, SDH or voice
