Division Manager (IP & Optical Networks)
Description
A Global IT Services company is looking for a Division Manager for the IP & Optical Networks group.
The IP & Transport Division Head will be responsible for the strategic planning, implementation, and management of the Client's Mobile IP and transport network infrastructure.
This role demands a visionary leader with deep technical expertise and a proven track record in developing cutting-edge network technologies and managing network operations.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work with network planning, architecture, and finance teams to align network objectives with business goals.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize the transport network infrastructure, ensuring high performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Technical Expertise: Strong IP skillset including SRv6, Network Slicing, SD-WAN, Delivery of Differentiated SLA services, IP-MPLS.
- Advanced Optics Technologies: Expertise in GMPLS, Protected service delivery, and Nanaswitching technologies.
- IP-Optics Convergence: Experience with Dis-aggregation Model, Open Line system, and whitebox solutions.
- Leadership: Lead and manage engineering teams responsible for building state-of-the-art transport mobile networks to cater to current and future service offerings.
- Budget Planning: Plan division-level budget for network maintenance, network expansion, network capacity management, and network lifecycle management.

Required Skills
- Proven experience in engineering and operations management within the mobile network industry, with a focus on IP & Optical networks and Enterprise business.
- Strong knowledge of transport network technologies on IP, optics transport, Enterprise, and internet services.
- Demonstrated experience in leading large-scale engineering and operations teams, with a track record of delivering successful projects and achieving operational excellence.
Preferred Skills
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.
- Develop strategies and initiatives to improve the overall customer experience by understanding their needs, expectations, and pain points. Implement customer feedback - mechanisms to gather insights and take necessary actions to address customer concerns promptly.
