Description

Our Client, worlds’ largest cloud computing infrastructure company, is growing at an exponential rate and they are looking for a talented Senior Specialist Digital Innovation in Tokyo.

 

As a Senior Specialist for Digital Innovation:

- You will have an exciting opportunity to lead customer engagements and shape and deliver the Digital Innovation program (DIP), working with Japan sales teams and leadership and other and Worldwide teams.

- Your primary responsibility will be to identify, develop, and lead engagements with our emerging & fast-growing Enterprise customers – engaging line of business and C-suite leaders. The DIP utilizes their mechanisms to drive prototype building and quickly scale solutions.

 

You must be comfortable working in a fast-paced and entrepreneurial enterprise technology sales environment, and working with cross-functional teams as many parts of the program will have interdependencies with other teams. Typically, cross-functional collaboration includes sales teams, sales leadership, solutions architects, marketing, partners, professional services, and sales enablement.

 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Work with Enterprise Sales to identify and qualify customers for the Digital Innovation Program

- Develop C-suite and line-of-business relationships with leading innovators within customer organizations

- Deliver high-quality workshops using innovation mechanisms to identify specific end-customer problems or opportunities and help customer teams articulate a potential solution

- Improve and define sales plays and models in-line sales strategy & GTM

- Coordinate & support the translation of solutions into meaningful experiments supported by business cases, working with relevant build teams and partners

- Train & enable local sales teams to help qualify customers, and – in some cases – lead elements of the digital innovation engagement

- Conduct customer briefings, present at customer events, further solutions-led thought leadership in the innovation domain

- Execute the strategic business development plan while working with key internal stakeholders (e.g. sales teams, service teams, legal, support, etc.)

Required Skills

- The right candidate will have experience delivering innovation engagements for emerging & fast-growing enterprise customers. This includes a proven track record of leading and driving multiple simultaneous projects to meet customer business objectives, excellent project management skills, a customer-obsessed and collaborative approach, strong data and metrics bias, a good understanding of cloud solutions, and a passion for helping customers transform using cloud technologies. 

- Experience working with business leaders to define and solve real challenges. Strong verbal, presentation and written communications skills in Japanese and English are a must, as well as leadership skills 

- Experience working within the technology industry is highly desired.

- Experience in customer-facing digital innovation or equivalent consultative-selling role

- Business development, consulting, program/product management, or IT solutions development experience
