A leading Global Financial firm is looking for a Computer Vision Data Scientist to join their grown team.


The ideal candidate will work in a dynamic and evolving environment following the company’s strategic direction. You will contribute to the delivery of data solutions in one or more of the following industries: finance, audit, tax and banking, with knowledge and experiences in Computer Vision and Data Sciences as well as skills and techniques in Data Engineering.


Depending on the project, you will take part in one or more roles in a data science project lifecycle, from business understanding, data acquisition, data processing, advanced analytics, modeling, deployment and optimization.



You will be a problem-solver, with the following responsibilities:

- Translate advanced business analytic problems into technical approaches that yield actionable recommendations, in diverse domains such as risk management, product development, marketing research, supply chain, and public policy; communicate results and educate others through insightful visualizations, reports and presentations

- Perform exploratory data analysis, generate and test working hypotheses, and uncover interesting trends and relationships

- Retrieve, prepare, and process a rich data variety of data sources such as social media, news, internal/external documents, emails, financial data, legal data, and operational data

- Analyze and model structured data and implement algorithms to support analysis using advanced statistical and mathematical methods from statistics, machine learning, data mining, econometrics, and operations research

- Perform Statistical Natural Language Processing to mine unstructured data, using methods such as document clustering, topic analysis, named entity recognition, document classification, and sentiment analysis

- Work on implementing complex data projects with a focus on collecting, parsing, managing, analyzing and visualizing large sets of data to turn information into insights using multiple skill sets. These include code development and deployment, supporting data processing pipelines; data mining/science algorithms; and visualization engineering

- ソーシャルメディア、ニュース、社内外の文書、電子メール、財務データ、法務データ、業務データなど、多様なデータソースの取得、準備、処理を行う

- 統計学、機械学習、データマイニング、計量経済学、オペレーションズリサーチなどの高度な統計的・数学的手法を用いて、構造化されたデータを分析・モデリングし、分析をサポートするアルゴリズムを実装する

- 文書クラスタリング、トピック分析、名前付きエンティティ認識、文書分類、感情分析などの手法を用いて、統計的自然言語処理を行い、非構造化データを収集する

- 複数のスキルセットを用いて、大規模なデータセットの収集、解析、管理、分析、可視化を中心とした複雑なデータプロジェクトを実施し、情報を洞察に変える。

Required Skills


- Advanced degree in quantitative field like math, statistics, engineering or computer science

- Experience in solving real life business problems by using knowledge/skills in at least two of the followings areas:

- Must have: Computer Vision, especially around Optical Character Recognition

- At least one of Statistics, Data mining, Machine Learning, Optimization, Simulation, Natural Language Processing (NLP)

- Experience in OpenCV

- Experience with Tensorflow or Pytorch

- Knowledge of popular architectures used for Computer Vision: RCNNs, ResNets, UNets, YOLO, Vision Transformers

- Experience in Python and 1 year experience in at least one of the following programming languages: R, Java, Scala, C++

- Experience with Git and Docker

- Experience with command-line scripting, data structures, and algorithms; ability to work in a Linux environment

- Capable of picking up new languages and technologies quickly; understanding of cloud and distributed systems principles

- Pythonでの実務経験と、以下のプログラミング言語のうち少なくとも1つでの1年以上の経験。R、Java、Scala、C++

- GitおよびDockerの使用経験

- 新しい言語や技術を素早く習得できること、クラウドや分散システムの原理を理解していること
