A global Insurance and Mobile Device Support Services company is seeking an IT Delivery Manager to lead technology teams, working with business users, product owners and development teams to envision, initiate and execute medium to long term strategic initiatives, ensuring client demand is matched up against IT supply and resourced effectively across the various IT departments, leveraging an efficient set of processes for work intake, prioritization and capacity and exception management.

The successful candidate will act as a single IT point of contact, liaison, and advocate between product analysts and all IT departments regarding application delivery sharing ownership and accountability with senior management for delivery of programs within their investment portfolio to deliver projects on time, within scope and on budget.

 - Lead a distributed team of 25-30 engineers and analysts.
 - Collaborate with team members located across multiple sites to produce project/products deliverables (mentor, guide and delegate where appropriate for effectiveness)
 - Deliver projects by collaborating and leading Product Managers, UX Designers, and other engineers, testers in the team.
 - Effectively communicate the feasibility of requested deliverables and timelines to the leadership.
 - Maintain proficiency in the application and use of systems, tools, and processes within the department's scope
 - Maintain proficiency in business processes that drive the applications within department’s scope
 - Maintain a working knowledge applications and system integration in order to anticipate cross-system or cross-process impacts
 - Shapes and strengthens external business and technology vendor relationships.

Required Skills

 - Overall application software development experience
 - Delivery leader experience spanning across relationship management, project prioritization and governance, portfolio management, and people management
 - Experiences in line management for IT application development sections including: relationship management, project prioritization and governance, portfolio management, and staff management, or equivalent skill required
 - Strong Computer Science fundamentals
 - Ability to lead a team of IT professionals
 - Clear and confident communicator, strong collaborator
