Our client is an established Singapore-based regional company, serving enterprise needs mainly in the areas of IT Network and Infrastructure.

These include turnkey solutions for Structured Cabling, Network Equipment, and IT Infrastructure for Data Centre, Servers & Storage, Telecommunications, Wireless Network, Power Protection, Enclosure & Racking systems, IT Consultancy and Manpower Outsourcing of IT Professionals.

They are looking for a CISCO LAN Support Engineer to support one of their clients in Tokyo.

- Provide CISCO LAN Support
- LAN support (remote and on-demand/incidents)
- Maintain asset management LAN inventory
- Coordination with Cisco vendor (RMA, etc.)
- Perform Cisco switch configuration support according to the base standard configuration file given by client
- VLAN, POE port config support, AP connection, dual-link connection to other switches
- Update LAN connect diagram (Visio knowledge required) and LAN inventory Excel update (switches break/fix/refresh etc.)
- LAN troubleshoot, triage, cause analysis, resolution, and reporting.
- Extreme Networks AP (AP-8533/8132/7131) support (initial configuration based on client config file), troubleshoot until Wi-Fi client stable connected

- クライアントから提供された基本標準構成ファイルに従って、Ciscoスイッチ構成サポートの実行
- VLAN、POEポート構成のサポート、AP接続、他のスイッチへのデゥアルリンク接続
- LAN接続図の更新、LANインベントリExcelの更新(スイッチの中断、修正、更新など)
- LANトラブルシューティング、トリアージ、原因分析、解決、レポート
- Extreme Networks AP (AP-8533/8132/7131) サポート(クライアント構成ファイルに基づく初期構成)、WiFiクライアントが安定して接続するまでのトラブルシューティング

Required Skills

- Network engineer support experience
- Working knowledge of CISCO LAN products, cables, switches, VLAN, Remote Desktop Support experience
- LAN connect diagram - Visio knowledge required
- Change request process PDSM knowledge
