Description

A major global IT network company is hiring a Linux Enterprise Support Analyst!

【Responsibilities】
(Primary)
‐ Support, manage and administer a multi-service environment based on Redhat and/or CentOS based operating systems
‐ Support and Operate Linux based services including RedHat IPA (IDM), FreeIPA, DNS, Squid Proxy and other core Linux related services.
‐ Support and Operate security services and integrations with and/or for PAM, SSSD, SSHD in addition to .conf files and other configuration items
‐ Manage and Administer user, group and host policies within Redhat IDM service
‐ Support and Administer Ansible for scripting system builds and other automation tasks within Ux environment.
‐ Support MACs(move/add/change) of User, Group, Objects and Policy within Directory Services domain during transition period to ops.
‐ Support system triage, health and system lifecycle management (patching / updates etc)
‐ Collaborate with Openstack/DC, AD, Security teams for x-system operational support, triage and service (virtual machine, guestOS and host) activation
‐ Support Linux Client onboarding for LDAP / IPA services

 (Secondary)
‐ Work with Linux / Identity Track Lead Build/Project Consultant in support of overarching system design/stage/test & prod implementation lifecycles
‐ Work with Red-hat Linux IDM, LDAP, IPA & DS389 services team in support of a consistent approach to group and user policy.
‐ Support a mixed WinTel / Ux operating domain for DNS/Directory services and Object/Policy Management and collaborate with AD engineers as needed.
‐ Create & Manage creation of SOP’s / MOP’s (Operating Procedures) as required for creation of user, server and policy objects etc
‐ Manage and Support System Lifecycle management (Patching, Updates etc)
‐ Work with other uX service owners to support integration and change as required

Required Skills

‐ LuX/Linux/RedHat System Operation & configuration experience
‐ IDM / Free IPA and LDAP Services Configuration & Baseline system installation experience
‐ Experience operating in a multi-domain (AD and/or IDM)
‐ Understand PKI, Certificates and Operation (Dogtag, Certmonger) in addition to Kerberos in uX domain
‐ Familiar with domain services including DNS/NTP services
‐ Past experience working with mixed AD/uX environment
‐ Command line expertise with Bash, Ansible and common tools
‐ Experience leading large, cross-functional teams
‐ Experience working on complex solutions and handling management level escalation.

【Key Skills】
‐ Linux : Scripting, BASH, Ansible, RedHat Enterprise Linux, Linux Security Hardening, Linux Administration experience
‐ LDAP Directory (DS389 or Apache DS or Redhat IDM or Free IPA) experience
‐ GIT Hub / Repo / Opensource Software experience
‐ DNS Administration experience
‐ Openstack experience (optional)

Preferred Skills

‐ X-Domain Linux / AD integration experience desirable
