A global life insurance company is looking for a skilled Application Support engineer with strong experience in open systems. You will enjoy working for a leading global company with talented professionals locally and globally.


【Main Responsibilities】
You will play a part in operation management in a production environment for all of the company's application systems.

You will understand the execution status of application systems, analyze issues, and consider improvement measures as necessary, and request development to an implementation department.

Responsibilities also include support for business inquiries after production release, the release of application to production environment, and investigation of the impact of system failures.

In addition, we will present non-functional requirements (operation requirements, performance requirements) for stable operation in the production environment, and conduct acceptance review, etc.


Application support
‐ Investigate the user's inquiries and problems with the system in production, analyze and provide the solution
‐ Correspondence of data processing items of the system in production
‐ Operation design in business project, proposal of non-functional requirements, implementation of review


Operation management
‐ Work on production release of various application systems
‐ Implementation of improvement proposals for inefficient work
‐ Application account management


Vendor management
‐ Progress management of vendor orders
‐ Reviews of deliverables from vendors

Required Skills

‐ 言語:Java, JavaScript, C#, C++、Python、Ruby/データベース:Oracle, DB2、MS SQLでの知識
‐ オープン系システムでの開発、運用保守の経験
‐ プログラムソースからアプリケーションシステムの機能を調査分析できるスキルと経験
‐ 運用設計におけるドキュメント作成、保守の経験
‐ エンドユーザーまたは顧客とのコミュニケーションスキルと経験


‐ Languages: Java, JavaScript, C #, C ++, Python, Ruby / Database: Oracle, DB2, MS SQL knowledge
‐ Development and operation maintenance experience in Open Systems
‐ Skills and experience to investigate and analyze application system functions from program source
‐ Experience in document creation and maintenance in operation design
‐ Communication skills and experience with end users or customers
‐ Business conversation in Japanese (reading and writing)

Preferred Skills

‐ 金融機関のシステム開発、運用保守経験(損害保険システムの経験があれば尚良し)
‐ ITに関する資格保有
‐ 要件定義から開発、テスト、本番リリース、保守運用まで一連の開発工程の経験
‐ ITインフラ、データベース等を含む運用保守の実務経験
‐ 開発、運用のベンダー管理の経験
‐ 以下のソリューション(Filenet, SiteCore, Control-M, CRM, ESB, MDM, ETL(Power Centre), ODM, SFDC、AWS、Azure、Blue Prism)の使用経験


‐ System development, operation and maintenance experience in a financial institution (it is ideal, if you have experience in a non-life insurance system)
‐ Experience in the development process from requirements definition to development, testing, production release, maintenance operation
‐ Practical experience of operation maintenance including IT infrastructure, database etc.
‐ Vendor management experience in development and operation
‐ Experience with the following solutions (FileNet, Site Core, Control-M, CRM, ESB, MDM, ETL (Power Centre), ODM, SFDC, AWS, Azure, Blue Prism)
