Description

Global venture capital firm seeks an experienced Technology Support Associate to maintain the tech support function for their office in Tokyo. In this role, you will be required to assist in 1st to 3rd line desktop and network support, ensuring a best in class service to the end user.

This role will report to the Global Helpdesk Manager and liaise with counterparts in their global offices.

【Responsibilities】
‐ Responsible for the availability and reliably of internal IT services
‐ Work collaboratively with the global IT team to provide 24/7 incident support to the business
‐ Multi-OS deployments, administration and support
‐ LAN and WiFi support of all connected devices
‐ Work with 3rd Party vendors
‐ IT induction of new employees
‐ Ensuring employees’ IT needs are always met, that they have all the equipment and software required to effectively achieve their goals

Required Skills

‐ IT support experience
‐ Expert knowledge of Office 365
‐ Experience in administration & remote deployment using AirWatch
‐ Expert knowledge in supporting OSX and Windows environments
‐ Experience in supporting Cisco Networks (Meraki)
‐ Strong desktop, office device and network troubleshooting skills (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
‐ Able to demonstrate best practice in security and exercise high confidentiality.

Preferred Skills

‐ AWS / Azure / PowerShell
‐ IT support experience in the financial industry, private equity.
