Growing Fintech Company's talented and innovative production engineering team's primary focus is to enable product teams rapidly, deploy, scale and monitor our vast network of microservices using the latest cloud platforms and DevOps tooling.

As a Production Engineer, your primary responsibility will be enabling feature and product teams to release high quality, production grade software with a focus on automation, scalability, security and reliability.

In this exciting role, you will work closely with talented engineers from various disciplines in order to deliver world class products to our rapidly expanding customer base.

Required Skills

‐ This is a mid to senior level requirement so at least a BS degree in Computer Science or related technical field is important.
‐ 3 years of experience in one or more of the following languages: C, C++, Java, Scala, Python, Go, Ruby, Shell and/or Perl.
‐ Background working with major cloud based platforms such as Google Cloud Platform, AWS or Microsoft Azure.
‐ You will be required to have Infrastructure Solution Architect experience
‐ Implement new technologies and lead from the front
‐ Monitoring systems and make a regular recommendation

Preferred Skills

‐ Familiar with continuous delivery and integration systems.
‐ Strong problem solving skills, able to work well under pressure.
‐ Experience with Docker and container orchestration systems such as Kubernetes.
‐ Extensive experience working with Unix/Linux based systems.
‐ Able to deploy and manage infrastructure with configuration systems such as Terraform, Ansible, Puppet or Chef.
‐ Experience designing, deploying and troubleshooting distributed systems.
‐ Solid understanding of computer network theory and protocols (TCP, UDP, IP, DNS, OSI Model and Load Balancers)
