A global financial services company seeks an experienced, bilingual desktop engineer in Tokyo to provide a high level of end to end support services for IT and desk side telecoms.

This is a hands-on role where an outstanding customer service ethic is key; as the team is completely customer facing.

The successful candidate will also work with various IT Project teams to deliver new technology and become a bridge between the end user and those projects. High level communications skills will be required to help guide client feedback from the business to the project and your team.

【Key Responsibilities】
‐ Provide technical support and training for all technology related equipment (PC's, Mac's, Mobile Devices, Print, Video Conference, Microsoft Office, 3rd vendor Applications, Market Data Applications)
‐ Support Windows 10 + O365
‐ Support of Virtual Desktop infrastructure (VDI)
‐ Front-line problem support, prioritization and fixing, working with our regional systems teams and local vendors
‐ Provide valid technical advice and solution to colleagues in the team with robust background of technical skill and experience
‐ Consult / discuss with internal business unit or external party to come up with solution or new initiative
‐ Assist project manager from technical / engineering perspective to take part in project initiatives
‐ Project technical lead in Systems project and assist project manager
‐ Good understanding of security policies to manage environment
‐ Knowledge of Windows PC / Server Operating System and standard software / tools
‐ Incident support, Problem/Change management in local & regional
‐ Support of BCP / DR practices

‐ システムプロジェクトにおいて技術的にリードし、プロジェクトマネージャを支援する
‐ 環境保守のためセキュリティポリシーをよく理解する
‐ Windows PC / Serverオペレーティングシステムおよび標準ソフトウェア/ツールの知識
‐ インシデントサポート、地域およびローカルの問題/変更管理
‐ BCP / DRプラクティスのサポート

‐ A good understanding of Windows 10 and Windows 2008/2012 Server Ability to demonstrate MS Office troubleshooting skills
‐ Understanding of Market Data Applications (Bloomberg/Eikon)
‐ A good understanding of Video Conference systems (Polycom/Crestron/Extron/Avaya/Zoom)
