A Fortune 500 financial group is building the Asset Management Business in Japan, and require talented people on regular basis. This is a wonderful opportunity to work with America's most reputed Asset Management service provider, here in Japan. They are seeking a talented, experienced and bilingual Application Developer to support their upcoming projects. If you have the skills and experience required, you are encouraged to apply for this great career opportunity.
‐ Initially, you will work mostly independently on specific tasks related to maintenance of a 25-page QlikView weekly report that is mostly systematized and goes to very senior management. The report contains various financial metrics and status of the whole investment portfolio, through tables, charts, and graphs.
‐ The production run is on Monday afternoon, so Monday is a critical day in case there are some last minute quirks to address. Development is in QlikView IDE and NPrinting Designer with a lot of GUI configuration, and the raw coding is similar to SQL plus basic programming constructs. There are also end user macros that have been developed and require ad-hoc maintenance.
‐ The future potential of the job depends on how much more core programming you are capable of, and we can shape the role to fit your skills and interest.
Our client is an industry leader in voluntary insurance products that pay cash directly to policyholders and one of America's best-known brands.
