Currently the IT infrastructure division of a global insurance group is experiencing enormous growth within their group responsibilities for Japan. They are looking for a skilled and motivated Web Application Firewall engineer to join their Web services team.
The function of the WAF Security Engineer is to design, implement, support and maintain all aspects related to Imperva at an enterprise level. You will be responsible for hands-on operations and engineering activities to ensure the successful implementation of mission critical Imperva projects, and work with application teams to create solutions. This is a great opportunity to leverage your skills in Imperva or similar categories (i.e. NetScaler, etc.) to work on improving the robustness of the services platform.
‐Imperva (WAF) skill set or any of the same categories (ie NetScaler, Akamai, AWS WAF)
‐Logical understanding of Networking (TCP level)
‐Understanding of Unix and Windows servers
‐Knowledge of best practices and IT operations in an always-up, always-available service
‐Middleware server administration experience – Websphere, Weblogic, Siteminder, Tomcat, Apache Http, IIS, IHS etc. (at least any one application server and one webserver will do)
‐Understanding of SDLC and its terminology
‐Basic idea about software version management
‐Scripting: shell and windows batch scripting for middleware components
‐Coding experience with computer languages like Java, C, C#, Python etc.
‐Cloud computing like AWS, Azure experience
