The Informatics Technical Specialist (ITS) primary job function is to serve as the subject matter expert for the installation; integration; verification; and support of the system pre-installation.

The implementation strategy includes pre-implementation planning and preparation; software installation; connectivity; verification testing; customer training; and technical support.

Activities may be performed by phone or on site and requires coordination with project managers and customer LIS; IT; and laboratory staff.

‐ The resource will apply their technical IT and networking knowledge to analyze user needs; gather customer requirements; design an integrated; scalable; and comprehensive informatics solutions to improve the automation and informatics solutions for clinical diagnostic healthcare customers.
‐ Serve as the informatics applications expert for the field service organization to provide enhanced support as need to address customer needs.
‐ Serve as the communication link between the field service organization and direct customers to the global support organization where necessary.
‐ Collaborate and partner with the marketing organizations for new product identification; strategy and development that will provide solutions beyond the competition to establish the division as the elite automation and informatics solutions partner.

Required Skills

‐ コンピューター科学、情報システム、医療技術、又は関連分野の大卒(大学院卒は尚可)
‐ 5年以上のシステムソフトウェアの統合とサポートの経験



‐ Bachelor's degree in computer science; information systems; medical technology; or related field (Masters degree a plus. )
‐ 5+ years' systems/instrument software integration and support experience

‐ 3+ years in the Healthcare IT field.
‐ Preferably 2 years' track record in Healthcare with an emphasis on customer facing post-sales IT support
‐ Strong leadership skills
‐ Excellent IT functional expertise, IT product and industry knowledge in Laboratory Medicine
‐ Good relationship building skills
‐ Must be team orientated, analytical, highly organized
‐ Excellent communication, interpersonal and influencing skills
‐ Ability to identify and drive resolution of issues, excellent problem solving skills
‐ Willingness to work in cross-functional teams
