Wonderful opportunity to further your career within the core business unit of a progressive international firm in Central Tokyo! A famous global network service provider is hiring a Pre/Post Sales Engineer.


We offer a range of data center, network, managed IT, and cloud services that can be integrated and tailored to address the business needs of clients.


You will work jointly with the sales team to consult, propose, and win new business in the ICT Services line of business. This is a sales engineer role specializing in ICT Service. You will collaborate with Account Executives to achieve revenue targets by consulting, proposing and selling high value ICT Services – Network, Cloud, Hosting, Managed Services and IT Solutions to existing and new enterprise clients in Japan and Asia Pacific.



‐Work with sales teams to develop and sell new opportunities in the ICT services space to attain revenue and sales targets

‐Develop C-Level and technical level relationships in target customers

‐Solution selling – align technology solutions to customer business problems

‐Align proposals to vertical sector plans (finance, manufacturing, etc.), individual account plans, and overall corporate business plans

‐Work in full sales cycle: discover, develop, propose, negotiate, and close (deliver)

‐Work on large or complex bids as a “sales leader” for sales function

‐Design customer solutions combining network products: Leased Line, Ethernet, ISP, IP-VPN, managed switches/routers/etc., as well as related services like public cloud connectivity, financial exchange connectivity, and other industry specific offerings.

‐Provide solutions across domestic as well as regional/global geographies

‐Work with solution partners (Carriers and IT vendors for example) to create and drive customized sales engagement models for individual customer requirements

‐Maintain and communicate sales forecasts and pipeline per sales process

‐Contribute to account plans and strategic territory reviews as required


















Required Skills

‐Sales engineering experience and knowledge

‐Experience in carrier networks and switching/routing (Hands-on/operational experience preferred. CCNA/CCNP, ITIL and other relevant certifications an advantage)

‐Some Asia Pacific travel maybe required

‐Sales experience in relevant services (Finance, Media, Game, ISP/SIer, Indirect Sales)
