Description

Listed global internet service company is looking for a Software Project Manager who has strong project management core competencies.

‐ Communicate proactively; manage stakeholder expectations and enable informed decisions by continuously producing output.
‐ Manage roles, scope, time, cost, human resource, quality, risk, procurement, stakeholders and communication.
‐ Coordinate internal/external resources to ensure that all projects are delivered on time within scope and budget.
‐ Develop a project plan, by applying appropriate project management techniques.
‐ Perform risk management to mitigate project risks and report/escalate to management when needed.
‐ Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
‐ Collaborate with Product manager and the business side to plan service improvement.
‐ Negotiate and obtain agreement on changes to scope, schedule and budget through the organization’s change management process.
‐ Proactively identify risks and manage them.
‐ Ensure release readiness, all requirements and quality standards are met.
‐ Prepare and send the reports to senior management.
‐ Define, implement and ensure that project processes are followed and are adapted as required using the company Project Management Methodology as a guide.
‐ Facilitate meetings efficiently, and create and distribute meetings minutes as needed.
‐ Develop metrics for team management.

Required Skills

‐ Experience with software project management
‐ Pro-activeness, excellent inter-personal skills, including the ability to influence others
‐ Strong project management core competencies
‐ Analytical, process-oriented and organized
‐ Experience with modern project management tools, preferably JIRA/Confluence and MS Project

Preferred Skills

‐ PMP, Prince2, or in-house equivalent Project Management qualification
‐ Engineering background (e.g. System Engineering)
‐ Ability to create effective metrics and illustrative charts (e.g. value stream mapping, cause-effect diagrams, etc.)
‐ Experience of working in large corporations where some level of standardization is required for better collaboration
‐ Experience in managing technical teams and exposure to technology projects
‐ Agile development, scrum team coaching and transformation experience highly advantageous
