Our client a global leader in the Insurance Industry is currently undergoing several major transitions and in need of a strong bilingual Project Management Lead to drive the success of the below:

‐ Moving to a globalized organization from largely Japan focused organization
‐ Insourcing of key skills to ensure IT becomes a part of the core competitive advantage of the company
‐ Changing operating model from a developer led IT strategy to a more cross functional strategy
‐ Integration of Japan centric on premise systems to hybrid cloud based global solutions.

The Project Delivery Lead works side-by-side in a bilingual environment with the application, engineering and IT operations team to help design, coordinate and manage projects to deliver new innovative solutions for our clients' organization.

The Project Delivery Lead will focus on:
‐ Continuous Deployment Pipeline of new technologies
‐ End-to-end Project Management and project life cycle
‐ Vendor and contractor management within projects
‐ Project Coordination
‐ Project Risks and resiliency assessments
‐ Streamlining the Project processes across various functional entities
‐ Creating and tracking Schedules, project documents and project deliverables

The successful candidate will be outgoing, a confident public speaker, and not afraid to challenge the status quo!

Required Skills

‐ Experience in leading IT project management
‐ Understanding of the complete deployment lifecycle from design, build, test, and deploy
‐ Experience with managing projects in both Windows and Linux environments
‐ Knowledge of virtualization technology and methods (VMware, Citrix)
‐ Ability to navigate and document complex project lifecycle processes

Preferred Skills

‐ Past experience in automation and configuration management tools such as Chef
‐ Past experience in software container technologies
‐ Technical background with an understanding or hands-on experience in cloud solutions
