A leading global management consulting firm is looking to hire Editor/Communication staff in Asia.

This position has two dimensions. As an Editor, she/he is responsible for all the Japanese materials including website, reports, newsletters, presentations, press commentaries/releases etc.

As a communication staff, she/he deals with communication activities in Asia, including responding press inquiries, distributing press commentaries/newsletters etc. and develop/maintain relationship.



‐ Edit all materials in Japanese, including website, reports, newsletters, presentations, press commentaries/releases etc.

‐ Edit translations of report abstracts and Executive Extracts maintaining quality in terms of accuracy in technical terms and technological context.

‐ Manage external translators and keep pace of publication. If needed, translate materials oneself.

‐ Maintain company’s Japanese language website, updating on daily basis.

‐ Explore press opportunities including appearance on conferences/TVs/papers/magazines by building relationships with journalists/media. E.g.: respond inquires immediately. Distribute press comments.

‐ Coordination of venue, creating of event promotion/ registration site, management of registration, preparation of event handouts, organization of reception/ interpretation.

Required Skills

‐ High Language skills both in Japanese and English

‐ Business level and English both verbally and literary.

‐ TOEIC: 850 or more

‐ Knowledge/experience in financial industries and/or IT.

‐ Experience in communication/PR/marketing is nice to have
