Development Manager (Online Ticket Service)
Description
A global internet services company is looking for a Development Manager.
Responsibilities
- Engineering team management (progress management of various projects, assignment management, issue management)
- People management (commitment to each member's growth)
- Communication with stakeholders necessary to proceed with development (explanation of plans, reporting, and coordination)
- Understanding the requirements for system development and judging the appropriateness of schedule and man-hour estimates
- Examining and judging the validity of system design and test content

【Working Hours】
9:00-17:30 (Mon-Fri)
Hybrid (basically 4 days a week in the office, 1 day a week at home)
【Holidays】
Saturdays, Sundays, holidays, year-end and New Year holidays, paid holidays, and other special holidays

Required Skills
- Experience as a team manager
- Experience in engineering human resource development with coaching as well as teaching
- Curiosity about new technology elements and services, and a spirit of challenge
- Experience in more than one programming language (Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, C#, Kotlin, etc.)
- Understanding of challenges in developing scalable backend systems and experience in overcoming them
- Solid understanding of web technologies (HTTP/2/3, caching, load balancing, etc.)
- Experience in building fault resilient client-side components
- Experience in building systems that are deployed in k8s (12 factor app, etc.)
Preferred Skills
- Experience leading and facilitating business transfers between internal departments
- Architect or tech lead experience
- Experience with Agile (e.g. Scrum) development processes
- Knowledge of Database operations and tuning
- Experience in operating products that require large-scale load management
